National Lung Cancer Partnership

Florida Lung Cancer Partnership became the fourth state chapter of National Lung Cancer Partnership in December, 2011 to support lung cancer research, awareness and change. Members include health care professionals, lung cancer survivors and advocates dedicated to decreasing deaths due to lung cancer and helping patients live longer and better. Florida's first Free to Breathe® 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk was held in Jacksonville in November 2009, and three Free to Breathe events were held in 2011.
